Hongyuan Group is a global company covering freight services, international trade, supply chain finance and logistics real estate. Hongyuan Group was established in 2001 in Beijing and has nearly 50 subsidiaries.
Hongyuan has experienced rapid growth in its air cargo operations in Europe, thanks to the successful development of the “Air Silk Road” between China and Belgium.
Hongyuan is the first Chinese logistics player to deploy a European logistics footprint in Belgium to take its logistics services to the next level.
“In the future, we want to gradually open up other international freight routes such as Europe, America and Southeast Asia and increase export business to China,” says Cling Guo, director of Hongyuan Group Europe.
Recently, the company also moved its infrastructure to a 12,000 sqm hub at LIEGE Airport and an 8,000 sqm hub at Brussels Airport, which has frontline access and is fully refurbished to accommodate general cargo flows offering premium services to Hongyuan’s customers in China and Europe.
An integrated IT platform allows for on-site traceability.
Hongyuan can now expand its operations and by 2022 will also have its own airline. This expansion of its activities at Brussels Airport also creates additional jobs. Hongyuan already has 40 employees working at Brussels Airport and in the short term there will be up to 60 additional vacancies (direct and indirect).
